In the spring of 2021, Jalen Robinson founded Never Sleep Studios during his sophomore year at Arizona State University before embarking on his first documentary, Beyond The Ropes. Since then, he’s been able to work as a cinematographer, editor, producer, writer, and director on various narrative and documentary projects. Through his films, Jalen’s primary focus is to give voices to underrepresented communities while creating visually stunning and thought provoking works.
Dennis Hagan Jr. is a screenwriter from Chicago, IL. Specializing in dialogue, he has been working on projects with Never Sleep Studios since its’ inception.

Khairi Jelani is a self taught fashion designer who creates his own clothes via painting, sewing, heat pressing, etc. When Khairi decided to move to California to pursue his career & expand his craft, he discovered his interest for filmmaking. Combining his interest for film and fashion, Khairi has been able to work as a costume designer and assistant director on various film sets.
Brianna Bracamonte is an actress and writer from Tucson, Arizona. She recently graduated from Arizona State University earning a Bachelor of Arts in English. Her English studies paired with new experiences on various student film sets informed her more deeply of the significance and impact of cinema, and in her time at university, she went from regular appreciator of film, to an active maker -- finding herself thriving in acting, writing and directing positions. Never Sleep Studios has given her the opportunity, space, and trust to manifest the visions and ideas of herself and her fellow artists.
Viviana Gabriela Heredia is a producer from Nogales, AZ. Her love for cinema has inspired her to continue working on short films after graduating from Arizona State University's Sidney Poitier New American Film School, on the producing track. Viviana believes that all stories can to be told visually and enjoys finding the beauty of bringing these stories to the screen.
Jasmin Meza Torres is a Phoenix based Cinematographer and Camera Assistant. She primarily focuses on narrative films, documentary and non-profit video production. Her recurring collaboration with Never Sleep Studios has allowed her to create visuals for impactful, creative, and diverse stories.
Acque Warner is a music producer based out of Florida. His work has been featured in various mediums such as songs, films, and creative content videos on social media - under the moniker, Slite Delay. Acque created the name Slite Delay to remind himself and others that whatever God has planned for you will only ever be delayed, never denied.
